Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This notice explains how Landmark Solutions NW Ltd handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us about property work. It covers website enquiries, rather than every aspect of an ongoing building project.

Who is responsible for your information?

Landmark Solutions NW Ltd (company number 11795405) is the data controller. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected], call 07919 154097, or write to Landmark Solutions NW Ltd, 40 Norford Way, Rochdale, OL11 5QS.

Information you provide

An enquiry can include your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, property postcode, type of work, preferred reply method, message and any photographs or documents you choose to provide. We also receive information you give us in subsequent correspondence.

Required fields help us understand and respond to your request. You do not have to make an enquiry, but without sufficient contact and project details we may be unable to help. Optional fields and attachments are not required.

Please send only information relevant to the work. Avoid sending identification documents, financial account details, health information or unrelated personal records. If you provide information about another person, make sure you are entitled to share it and direct them to this notice.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to requests for quotations or services and take steps towards a contract with you, where you have asked us to do so.
  • For our legitimate interests in handling general and business-to-business enquiries, communicating with representatives, keeping relevant correspondence and protecting our website against misuse.
  • To meet legal obligations where these apply, including responding to valid requests from authorities.

Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. The website does not use your enquiry for automated decisions or profiling.

How enquiries reach us

The website enquiry form passes your message and selected attachments to our business inbox through our email delivery provider, Resend. Confirmation appears on the website; we do not automatically email a copy. If sending is unavailable, the form offers an email link instead. An email link opens your own email application: you must send the email yourself and attach any files manually. Choosing files alone does not deliver them to us.

Cloudflare provides website hosting and delivery. In serving and protecting the website, it may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested page and browser information. See our cookie policy for information about storage on your device.

Who may receive information

Relevant Landmark personnel and the providers supporting our website, email delivery and business mailbox may process enquiry information. We may also need to share relevant information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet a legal obligation or deal with a legal claim. If your enquiry progresses to work requiring other parties, we will explain relevant project-specific arrangements where needed.

Cloudflare and Resend operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. Their published information describes their processing locations and international-transfer arrangements: Cloudflare privacy information and Resend privacy information. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your enquiry.

How long information is needed

The appropriate retention period depends on whether an enquiry remains active, leads to a quotation or project, or is needed to resolve a complaint or legal matter. Relevant criteria include the last meaningful contact, outstanding commitments, applicable legal record-keeping requirements and the time in which a claim may be brought. Project and accounting records may therefore need to be retained longer than an unsuccessful initial enquiry. Contact us if you would like information about retention of a particular enquiry or wish to request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of its use or transfer of information you have provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Contact us using the details above. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the website’s handling of personal information changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
